A few years ago, I read a tip on LifeHacker about stopping a mosquito bite from itching by putting a piece of Scotch Tape over it.
I went to a friend’s birthday BBQ last night, and wound up with multiple mosquito bites on my right arm/hand– and this morning I was ready to try anything to stop the itching. So I gave that old Lifehacker tip a try, and it’s gotten me through most of my day with minimal itching and discomfort. Since the tape is transparent, most people don’t even notice it.
I’m not looking forward to when I need to rip the tape off, though . . . because my forearms tend to be kind of hairy. :-/
